The Byting Bulldogs’ Sixteenth Year
This year, we have 35 kids, and we are competing in two district events. We can’t wait to meet many alliance members and hopefully get some victories with them!
Our Robot, “Frozone”
The robot was named Frozone this year because, at the beginning of the season, we thought that the way our robot shot fuel looked like a snowblower. And who’s one of the first people you think of when you think of snow? Frozone!
Where’s our super suit? Our design and auton makes our robot very versatile at controlling the fuel and scoring in the hub. When you see us at one of our events make sure to freeze and we’ll say, “It’s ice to meet you!”

The Game
This year, our game operates in 30-second intervals. This means that your team can only score during half of the match. During the other half of the time, your hub (the place where you score) is inactive. When your hub is inactive, any fuel (the yellow balls) scored is considered void. In a team’s off time, they can defend the other team’s hub and/or try to stop them from collecting fuel. At any point during the teleoperated (teleop) period, human players can deposit fuel into the active hub with no limit on how much they can score. At the end of Teleop, they can climb their alliance’s tower to get points.
