Team Goals

  • Provide an alternative to conventional sports

  • Provide an opportunity for students to flex their intellectual muscle

  • Provide professional mentors in engineering, CAD, machining, mechanical, electrical, programming, business, journalism, and graphic design

  • Provide opportunities to work collaboratively as part of a team

  • Provide opportunities to be active contributors to our community through outreach and service

What is FTC?

FIRST Tech Challenge teams are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format.

Guided by coaches and mentors, students develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles, while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and working as a team.
